    AN ACT concerning finance.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Public Funds Investment Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 5 as follows:

    (30 ILCS 235/5)  (from Ch. 85, par. 905)

    Sec. 5. This Act, without reference to any other statute, 
8
shall be deemed
full and
and complete authority for the 
9
investment of public funds, as
hereinabove provided, and shall 
10
be construed as an additional and
alternative method therefor.
