1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 481
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 481 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by adding
5 Section 12-10.3 as follows:

6     (720 ILCS 5/12-10.3 new)
7     Sec. 12-10.3. Jewelry eye implants prohibited.
8     (a) A person may not implant pieces of jewelry into the
9 mucous membrane of the eye.
10     (b) Sentence. A violation of this Section is a Class 4
11 felony.
12     (c) The clerk of the court shall forward a copy of the
13 judgment of conviction of any person who violates this Section
14 to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for
15 appropriate disciplinary action under any appropriate
16 licensure Act.".
