AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 159

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 159 on page 2, by replacing lines 31 through 34 with the following:

"It is the applicant's responsibility to have the drug test conducted by a licensed physician. Proof of the drug test shall be submitted by the applicant to the driver education instructor (either a high school instructor or a commercial driver education instructor) in a manner and form acceptable to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State shall adopt rules for implementing this subsection (d)."; and

on page 2, below line 35, by inserting the following:

"Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.".
