AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2937

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2937 on page 4, line 30, by replacing "An importing distributor" with the following: "A holder of an importing distributor's license may obtain one supplemental storage permit upon the filing of the supplemental application with the State Commission. The Commission shall, upon the payment of a fee of $270, immediately issue the supplemental storage permit, which shall allow the storage of alcoholic beverages at one warehouse location other than the importing distributor's licensed premises, provided that (i) sales of alcoholic liquor are not made from the supplemental storage warehouse; (ii) the supplemental storage warehouse is not subject to the provisions of Article VIIA of this Act; (iii) the supplemental storage warehouse is owned by or otherwise in the control and possession of the importing distributor as evidenced by a written lease or agreement; and (iv) the supplemental storage warehouse is in compliance with the provisions of any agreement between the importing distributor and the manufacturers supplying alcoholic beverages to be stored in the storage warehouse. An importing distributor's supplemental storage permit must be displayed with the importing distributor's license at the licensed premises."; and

by deleting lines 31 through 36 on page 4 and lines 1 through 8 on page 5.
