 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1360

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1360  on  page  1,
 3    line  30, by replacing ", except as herein provided," with ",
 4    except as herein provided,"; and

 5    on page  2,  by  replacing  lines  14  through  24  with  the
 6    following:
 7        "The  sole  appropriate  bargaining  unit for tenured and
 8    tenure-track  academic  faculty  at  each   campus   of   the
 9    University  of  Illinois shall be a unit that is comprised of
10    non-supervisory academic faculty employed more than half-time
11    and  that  includes  all  tenured  and,   tenure-track,   and
12    nontenure-track faculty of that University campus employed by
13    the  board  of  trustees  of  that  University  in all of the
14    campus's  its  undergraduate,  graduate,   and   professional
15    schools   and   degree  and  non-degree  programs  (with  the
16    exception  of  the  college  of  medicine,  the  college   of
17    pharmacy,  the  college of dentistry, the college of law, and
18    the college of veterinary medicine, each of which shall  have
19    its  own  separate unit), regardless of current or historical
20    representation rights or patterns or the application  of  any
21    other factors. Any decision, rule, or regulation, promulgated
22    by the Board to the contrary shall be null and void.".
