 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 723

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 723,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    by  changing the title to "AN ACT concerning real property.";
 4    and

 5    after Section 10, by inserting the following:

 6        "Section 15.  The Code of Civil Procedure is  amended  by
 7    adding Section 7-103.102 as follows:

 8        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.102 new)
 9        Sec.   7-103.102.  Quick-take;   City  of  Mount  Vernon.
10    Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for  a
11    period of 3 years after the effective date of this amendatory
12    Act  of the 93rd General Assembly by the City of Mount Vernon
13    for the acquisition of all property necessary for the purpose
14    of extending or otherwise improving Veterans  Memorial  Drive
15    to the west to intersect with the extension of Davidson Drive
16    to the south in that city.".
