 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 150

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 150,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 1, line 5,  after  "10-20.21a",  by  inserting
 5    "and changing Section 29-15"; and

 6    on page 2, below line 24, by inserting the following:

 7        "(105 ILCS 5/29-15) (from Ch. 122, par. 29-15)
 8        Sec. 29-15.
 9        Subject to the provisions of Section 10-22.8 of this Act,
10    school   districts,   which  own  buses  or  other  vehicular
11    equipment for the transportation of pupils to or from  school
12    within  such  district,  may  sell  or  lease  such  buses or
13    equipment to a Mass  Transit  District  organized  under  the
14    Local Mass Transit District Act or to an Urban Transportation
15    District  organized  under  the Urban Transportation District
16    Act. Such  districts  may  enter  into  an  intergovernmental
17    agreement   under   the   Intergovernmental  Cooperation  Act
18    contract  with  a  Mass  Transit   District,   the   Regional
19    Transportation  Authority  or  any  of  its Service Boards, a
20    rural transportation  program,  or  an  Urban  Transportation
21    District  for  the  transportation  of pupils to and from the
22    schools of such districts at a consideration to be determined

 1    by negotiation between the parties, and the  costs  of  those
 2    intergovernmental  agreements  are eligible for reimbursement
 3    by the State.  Such contracts shall otherwise be  subject  to
 4    the provisions of this Article.
