AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3962

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3962 on page 3, line 13, after "Assembly," by inserting "other than persons who enter service under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement,"; and

on page 6, line 36, by replacing "If" with "Except in the case of a teacher who enters service under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement, if"; and

on page 8, by replacing lines 7 through 11 with the following:

"The provisions of this subsection (b-4) apply only to salaries paid to teachers under contracts, other than collective bargaining agreements, entered into, amended, or renewed on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 93rd General Assembly.".
