 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3435

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3435  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN ACT making appropriations."; and

 5    by  replacing  everything  after the enacting clause with the
 6    following:

 7        "Section 5. The amount of $2, or so much of  that  amount
 8    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
 9    Fund  to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University
10    to  meet  the  ordinary  and  contingent  expenses   of   the
11    University.

12        Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July
13    1, 2003.".
