 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3396

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3396  by  replacing
 3    lines  32  through 34 on page 6 and line 1 on page 7 with the
 4    following:

 5        "(f)  Nothing  in  this  or  any  other   Act   prohibits
 6    recognition  of  A  labor organization shall be designated as
 7    the exclusive representative by a public employer  by  mutual
 8    consent  of the employer and the labor organization, provided
 9    that the labor"; and

10    on page 10, line 5 by changing "may" to "shall may"; and

11    on page 10,  line  14  by  inserting  after  the  period  the
12    following:

13    "Any  dispute  regarding  the  majority  status  of  a  labor
14    organization  shall be resolved by the Board which shall make
15    the determination of majority status.".
