 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3142

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3142 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing lines 13 through 25 with the following:

 4        "Section  10. Online information concerning investment of
 5    public funds.  Each State agency shall make available on  the
 6    Internet,  and  update  at  least  monthly by the 15th of the
 7    month, sufficient information concerning  the  investment  of
 8    any  public  funds  held by that State agency to identify the
 9    following:
10             (1) the amount of funds held by that agency  on  the
11        last  day  of  the  preceding  month or the average daily
12        balance for the preceding month;
13             (2) the total monthly investment  income  and  yield
14        for all funds invested by that agency;
15             (3)  the asset allocation of the investments made by
16        that agency; and
17             (4) a complete listing of  all  approved  depository
18        institutions,     commercial     paper    issuers,    and
19        broker-dealers approved to do business with that agency.

20        Section 15.  Information exempt from posting requirement.
21    Nothing in this Act shall require  a  State  agency  to  make
22    information  available  on  the  Internet that is exempt from

 2    Act.".
