 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2267

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2267 as follows:
 3    on  page  1,  by  replacing  lines  8  through  10  with  the
 4    following:
 5        "(a)  A person commits the  offense  of  paternity  fraud
 6    when:
 7             (1)  he  or  she  knowingly alleges that a person is
 8        the biological father of a child; and
 9             (2)  he or she knows, at the time  that  he  or  she
10        makes  the  allegation, that the allegation: (A) is false
11        and (B) may result  in  the  person  alleged  to  be  the
12        biological   father   of   a   child   being  erroneously
13        adjudicated as the father of a child.".
