 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1487 as follows:

 3    on  page  2,  by  inserting  between  lines  23  and  24  the
 4    following:
 5        "(d-7) Any person, other than a health care  practitioner
 6    licensed   to   practice   in  the  State  of  Illinois,  who
 7    participates in an execution under  this  Section  is  exempt
 8    from  criminal or civil liability for such participation that
 9    is conducted  in  accordance  with  the  provisions  of  this
10    Section.".
