 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1044,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 27, by inserting the following after line 14:

 5        "Section 80.  Upon the payment of the sum  of  $84,500.00
 6    to  the  State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set
 7    forth in Section 900  of  this  Act,  the  Secretary  of  the
 8    Department  of  Transportation  is  authorized  to  convey by
 9    quitclaim deed all right, title and interest in  and  to  the
10    following  described  land  in  DuPage  County,  Illinois, to
11    Harris Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust  #L-1594
12    and dated August 10, 1987.

 9        Except:    The   State   of   Illinois,   Department   of
10    Transportation, its successors and assigns, shall  reserve  a
11    permanent   easement,   privilege,  right  and  authority  to
12    construct, reconstruct,  extend,  replace,  repair,  inspect,
13    maintain  and operate a storm sewer system, and appurtenances

15    described  real  estate.  The Department shall reserve access

25    forth in Section 900  of  this  Act,  the  Secretary  of  the
26    Department  of  Transportation  is  authorized  to  convey by
27    quitclaim deed all right, title and interest in  and  to  the
28    following  described  land  in  Sangamon County, Illinois, to
29    Harold D. Carter and Carol A. Carter:

30        Parcel No. 675X188

31        A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest  Quarter
32        of  Section  4,  Township  17 North, Range 4 West, of the

28    quitclaim deed to the County of DuPage, Illinois, all  right,

31    Illinois, in exchange for the fair market value of that land,
32    less  any  improvements  requested  by  the   Department   of

12    Illinois Department of Corrections is authorized to execute a
13    Grant of Temporary Construction Easement over  the  following
14    described  land  in the following described parcel 26.1 TE in
15    the County of DuPage in exchange for the fair market value of
16    that easement:

18        That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township
19        38 North, Range 9, East of the Third Principal  Meridian,
20        lying  North of the Center line of Ferry Road, which lies
21        west of a line described as follows: Beginning at a point
22        in the center line of  said  Ferry  Road,  65.380  meters
23        (214.50  feet) west of the northerly right of way line of
24        the Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad; thence  North  02
25        Degrees 38 Minutes West to the North line of said Section
26        4,  and east of a line described as follows: Beginning at
27        a point on said north line of said  Section  4  which  is
28        90.123  meters  (4.48 chains) east of the Quarter Section
29        post in the south line of Section 33, Township 39  North,

 9        Section 917.  The Director of the Illinois Department  of
10    Corrections  shall obtain a certified copy of the portions of
11    this Act containing the title, enacting clause, the effective
12    date, the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
13    descriptions of the property to be transferred  or  otherwise
14    affected, and this Section within 60 days after its effective
15    date  and, upon receipt of payment required by the Section or
16    Sections, if  any  payment  is  required,  shall  record  the
17    certified  document in the Recorder's Office in the county in
18    which the land is located.

19        Section 920.  Subject to  the  conditions  set  forth  in
20    Section  927  of  this Act, the Director of the Department of
21    Natural Resources, on behalf of the  State  of  Illinois,  is
22    authorized  to  execute  and deliver to Springfield Plastics,
23    Inc., a Nevada Corporation, with offices at 7300 West  State,
24    Route   104,   Auburn,  Illinois,  hereinafter  "Grantee",  a
25    quitclaim deed to the following described real property,  for
26    and  in consideration of the fencing and trees to be provided
27    by Grantee as hereinafter specified under Section 2, to wit:
28        Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8,  Township  13
29        North,  Range  6  West  of  the Third Principal Meridian,
30        Sangamon  County,   Illinois,   described   as   follows:
31        Beginning  at  an  iron  pipe  at the intersection of the
32        Southerly right-of-way line of State Route  104  and  the

 1        Easterly  line  of the abandoned Chicago and Northwestern
 2        Railroad right-of-way;  thence  Southwesterly  along  the
 3        Easterly  line  of  said abandoned Railroad right-of-way,
 4        1563.58 feet to an iron pin; thence  West  parallel  with
 5        the  North  line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
 6        8, to a point 20.00 feet Westerly of and  perpendicularly
 7        distant from the Easterly line of said abandoned Railroad
 8        right-of-way;  thence  Northeasterly  parallel  with  the
 9        Easterly line of said abandoned Railroad right-of-way, to
10        the  Southerly  right-of-way  line of Illinois Route 104;
11        thence Easterly along said Southerly  right-of-way  line,
12        to the Point of Beginning, containing 0.71 acres, more or
13        less.

14        Section 925.  As full consideration for the conveyance of
15    the  real  property  described in Section 920, Grantee shall:
16    (1) provide all material, equipment  and  labor  required  to
17    erect  a  chain-link  fence, with a minimum height of 6 feet,
18    along the Westerly line of such real property, running from a
19    point  near  the  Southwest  corner  of  Grantee's   existing
20    building to the Southwest corner of such real property, being
21    approximately  700  feet  in  length;  and  (2)  provide  all
22    material,  equipment  and  labor  required to plant 4 (2 inch
23    minimum caliper) oak trees on adjoining real property  to  be
24    retained  by the Department of Natural Resources, as directed
25    by the Department.

26        Section 927.  The Director of the Department  of  Natural
27    Resources  shall  obtain  a certified copy of the portions of
28    this Act containing the title, enacting clause, the effective
29    date, the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
30    descriptions of the property to be transferred  or  otherwise
31    affected, and this Section within 60 days after its effective
32    date  and, upon receipt of payment required by the Section or

 1    Sections, if  any  payment  is  required,  shall  record  the
 2    certified  document in the Recorder's Office in the county in
 3    which the land is located.".
