 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 230

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 230 on page 1, line
 3    11, by replacing "shall may" with "may"; and

 4    on page 2, by replacing line 14 with the following: "any such
 5    area, shall not be at  least  less  than  350  acres  in  all
 6    counties  with  a  population under 600,000 and not less than
 7    100 acres in all counties with a  population  of  600,000  or
 8    more"; and

 9    on page 8, by replacing line 13 with the following:
10    "Agriculture  shall  carry  out, subject to appropriation, an
11    incentive program for"; and

12    on page  10,  line  32,  immediately  before  "adjacent",  by
13    inserting "immediately"; and

14    on page 12, by replacing lines 18 and 19 with the following:
15    "farm structures or farming practices in"; and

16    on page 12, by replacing lines 23 and 24 with the following:
17    "party,  unless the nuisance is created by willful and wanton
18    conduct. The Department of  Agriculture  may  give  technical
19    assistance to owners of land".
