SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Irma Jane Wait of Urbana, who passed away on December 23, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Irma Wait was born on April 25, 1933 in Crittenden Township; she was the daughter of George and Louisa (nee Karcher) Hausman; she married Raymond Dale Wait on August 9, 1952; and

WHEREAS, Irma Wait was an avid reader and an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, Irma Wait was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Macian Hausmann, Charles Hausman, and George Hausman; and

WHEREAS, Irma Wait is survived by her husband, Raymond; her children, Paula Jones, Hope Johnson, Lora (Larry) Dykes, Jeff (Lisa) Wait, Amy (Mike) Todd, David, and Rae (Myron) Witruk; her sisters, Joan Alkire and Paulette Kavadas; her 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her 2 great-great grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Irma Jane Wait; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Irma Wait as an expression of our sympathy.
