| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Jerome A. "Jerry" Johnson of McHenry, who | | 4 | | passed away on August 16, 2013; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Johnson was born on September 17, 1946 in | | 6 | | Rockford; his parents were Warren and Aileen (Reynolds) | | 7 | | Johnson; he married Star Norini on April 10, 1995 in Woodstock; | | 8 | | and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Johnson was a proud veteran of the Vietnam | | 10 | | War; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Johnson was a devout Christian and was very | | 12 | | involved with The Chapel in McHenry; he was also an avid | | 13 | | fisherman, photographer, and banjo player; and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Johnson was preceded in death by his | | 15 | | parents; and
| | 16 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Johnson is survived by his wife, Star; his | | 17 | | children, Wendy (Joe) Callahan, Tracy Johnson, and Garrett | | 18 | | (Kari) Johnson; his stepchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Simmons, | | 19 | | Penny Steffen, and Kenneth (Laura) Ptaszek Jr.; his | | 20 | | grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Julia, Alex, Zachary, |
