SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gordon L. Cook of Joliet, who passed away on June 17, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was born in Joliet to Joseph and Dolores (nee Prisliski) Cook; and

WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was a member of Painters Local #33 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles; and

WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Karen McCauley and Sandy Simmerman; and

WHEREAS, Gordon Cook is survived by his children, Joseph (Kristin) Cook, Angel (Bobby) Hauert, and Jamie (Nicole) Cook; his grandchildren, Brody and Kaden Cook, Skylar and Jersy Hauert, and Parker Cook; his nieces, nephews, and friends; and his dear friend, Susie Hibbe; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Gordon L. Cook, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gordon Cook as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
