SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Arthur Patrick Tiffany of McHenry, who
4passed away on June 15, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Arthur Tiffany was born on August 31, 1935, in
6Chicago; his parents were Arthur and Rosemary Tiffany; he
7married Charlaine "Charlie" Florence Hofherr on September 12,
81964, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Arthur Tiffany served his country with pride as a
10paratrooper in the United States Army during the Korean
11Conflict; and
 
12    WHEREAS, In 1973, Arthur Tiffany and his wife moved their
13four children to McHenry, where they raised their family and
14remained surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and
15great-granddaughter; after his retirement, he drove a school
16bus in McHenry for 10 years and enjoyed the opportunity to
17teach and learn from the children and teens he drove; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Arthur Tiffany enjoyed spending time with his
19family, gardening, attending concerts, hosting at
20Thanksgiving, and vacationing with his children and
21grandchildren; and

1    WHEREAS, Arthur Tiffany was preceded in death by his
2parents and his sister, Eleanor; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Arthur Tiffany is survived by his wife, Charlaine;
4his children, Shannon (Richard) Kottke, Aleen (Curt Rehberg)
5Tiffany, Flynn (Eileen) Tiffany, and Kathleen (Miguel)
6Villagomez; his grandchildren, Cheryl (Dustin), Adam,
7Christopher, Bradleigh, Morgan, Chloe, Noah, Priscilla,
8Dalilah, and Adrianna; and his great-granddaughter, Lydia;
9therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
12his family and friends, the passing of Arthur Patrick Tiffany;
13and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Arthur Tiffany as an expression of
16our sympathy.
