SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Betty June Wolff of Bunker Hill, who
4passed away on April 9, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff was born on September 2, 1929, in
6Alton; her parents were Herbert and Opal Marie Masterson; she
7married Willis C. Wolff Jr. on November 11, 1951, at Zion
8Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff was a homemaker and worked for many
10years at Rull Hardware in Bunker Hill; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff was a member of the Zion Lutheran
12Church of Bunker Hill, where she also took part in the Ladies
13of Zion, the Altar Guild, Vacation Bible School, and worked in
14the kitchen; she was also a member of the Red Hat Ladies; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff enjoyed playing cards, the Alton
16Theater, and spending the winters in Texas with her husband;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff was preceded in death by her husband,
19Willis; her parents; her brother, Herbert Junior Masterson; and
20her brother-in-law, Ken Ketzel; and

1    WHEREAS, Betty Wolff is survived by her children, Charles
2David (Marla) Wolff and Cynthia Sue (Dan) Bushmeyer; her
3grandchildren, Thomas Wolff, Cassandra Wolff, Niccole (Mike)
4Garner, Cody Wolff, Wade (Brittany) Hurley, Miriam Wolff, Troy
5(fiancee, Jessica Cobral) Bushmeyer, and Jessica Bushmeyer;
6her great-grandchildren, Sylas Hurley, Wren Hurley, Lilly
7Garner, Iyla Garner, and Gabriel Bushmeyer; her sisters,
8Shirley (Dean) Stiegemeier and Connie Ketzel; her sisters-in
9law, Dorothy Goebel and Marian Owen; and her many nieces and
10nephews; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
13her family and friends, the passing of Betty June Wolff; and be
14it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Betty Wolff as an expression of our
17sympathy.
