SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Faye Maurine Fox of Marion, who passed away on March 1, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Faye Fox was born on April 20, 1935, in Marion to Charles and Ruth (Gulledge) Ragain; she married Donald Lyle Cutrell and to this union 3 daughters were born: Trina, Cheryl, and Karla; she later married William Paul Fox and to this union her son, Dugie, was born; and

WHEREAS, Faye Fox was a member of Grange Hall Church; she enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and baking pies; she was an Eastern Star member; and

WHEREAS, Faye Fox was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her brothers, Joe Ragain and Gene Ragain; her sister, Lois Ragain; and her son-in-law, Danny Jobe; and

WHEREAS, Faye Fox is survived by her children, Trina (Gary) Clark, Cheryl (Tom) Buffington, Karla Johnson, and Dugie (Brandi) Fox; her grandchildren, Benjie Kent, Misty Riddle, Wesley and Ali Buffington, Cody and Brandy Buffington, Ashley Buffington, Adam Johnson, Justin and Rachael Johnson, Caleb and Kassie Johnson, Wyatt Fox, and Walker Fox; her great-grandchildren, Nicole Kent, Abbie Kent, Gage Kent, Lanie Kent, Chase Riddle, Hannah Riddle, Ethan Riddle, Hevyn Riddle, Drake Buffington, Keirsten Buffington, Colton Lezu, Hayden Lezu, Trent Johnson, and Ashlynn Johnson; her brothers, Max (Ellie) Ragain, Jim Ragain, and Ricky (Linda) Ragain; her sister, Patricia (Sam) Stearns; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Faye Fox, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Faye Fox as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
