SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Margaret M. Snelten of Lake in the Hills,
4who passed away on November 6, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was born in Evanston on October
625, 1921; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was a social butterfly who took a
8caring and true interest in the lives of others; she was
9fiercely independent, had a sharp sense of humor, and amazed
10people with her quick wit; she cherished her many years playing
11baseball and was constantly active in her garden; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was preceded in death by her
13daughter, Debra Wieber; her sisters, Eleanor and Lucille; and
14her brothers, Jerry, Lambert, Lawrence and John; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was the beloved wife of the late
16John J.; the beloved mother of Diane (Peter) Sorensen, David
17(Julie) Snelten, and Donald Snelten; the adored grandmother of
18Fallon (Guy) Dickson, Tara Wieber, John Snelten, Brooke
19Snelten, Jaclyn (Jeremy) Manning, Matthew Wieber, Kevin
20Sorensen, DJ Snelten, Mark Wieber, and Rob Wieber; and the
21loving great-grandmother of Giuliana Dickson and David

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Margaret M. Snelten, and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Margaret Snelten as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
