SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Joyce of Lombard, who passed away on November 11, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Mary Joyce attended Hawthorne Elementary School and graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1979; she subsequently graduated from Robert Morris College in 1981; and

WHEREAS, Mary Joyce was employed in the office of Attorney General Lisa Madigan as a legal executive secretary for 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Mary Joyce is preceded in death by her mother, Inga (nee O'Donnell) Feleen; and

WHEREAS, Mary Joyce is survived by her husband, Mark; her daughter, Maggie; her father, Joseph E. Feleen; 2 siblings, Meg (Allan) Williams and James (Ellie); 6 nieces and nephews, Helena Williams, David Williams, Leslie McKinney, Ashley Feleen, Emily, and Michael Feleen; and a brother-in-law, Patrick Joyce; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Joyce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Joyce as an expression of our sympathy.
