SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary J. Jordan (LoNigro) of North Chicago, who passed away on January 4, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Mary Jordan was born on October 17, 1921, in Waukegan to Joseph and Mary LoNigro; she married William F. Jordan on June 29, 1940; and

WHEREAS, Mary Jordan was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Church (Queen of Peace Site); and

WHEREAS, Mary Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, William and her parents; and

WHEREAS, Mary Jordan is survived by her sons, William J. (Bernice) and Jack (Sandy) Jordan; her grandchildren, Dean (Michelle) Jordan, Jacquelyn (Kevin) Quinn, Gina (Charles) Brandal, Michael Jordan, Tina Jordan, and Eric Bezek; her 6 great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; and her cousins, Nancy Nigro and Phyllis Resetar; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mary Jordan, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Jordan as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
