SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Doris Mae Norberg, who passed away on February 16, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was born in Joliet; she was a lifelong resident of the Joliet/New Lenox area; and

WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was a graduate of Joliet Township High School; and

WHEREAS, Doris Norberg enjoyed traveling, family get-togethers, and spending time with her grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Norberg; her parents, Lonnie and Irene (nee Conant) Richardson; her sisters, Irene (Charles) Wiles and Anna Marie Karolcik; and her brothers, Lonnie (Mary Alice), Robert, and John Richardson; and

WHEREAS, Doris Norberg is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Howard Norberg; her daughters, Judy Norberg and Jill (Ken) Siwinski; her sons, Timothy (the late Cindy) Norberg and Thomas (Kathy) Norberg; her grandchildren, Lindsey and Lauren Norberg, Kyle and Jake Siwinski, and Marja Norberg; her sister, Nancy (the late Don) Birsa; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Doris Mae Norberg; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Doris Norberg as an expression of our sympathy.
