Amends the Attorney Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the record of attorneys kept by the Clerk of the Supreme Court.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning courts.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Attorney Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

(705 ILCS 205/5) (from Ch. 13, par. 5)

Sec. 5. It shall be the the duty of the clerk of the supreme court to make and keep a record, stating at the head thereof that the persons whose names are therein written have been regularly licensed and admitted to practice as attorneys and counselors at law within this State, and that they have duly taken the oath of office as prescribed by law, which shall be certified and indorsed on the license.
