SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

820 ILCS 305/28   from Ch. 48, par. 138.28
820 ILCS 310/27   from Ch. 48, par. 172.62
    Amends the Workers' Compensation Act and the Workers' Occupational Diseases Act. Makes technical changes in Sections concerning theapplicability of the Acts.

1     AN ACT concerning employment.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by
5 changing Section 28 as follows:

6     (820 ILCS 305/28)  (from Ch. 48, par. 138.28)
7     Sec. 28. This Act shall apply to all accidental injuries
8 and~~and~~deaths occurring on or after July 1, 1951.

10     Section 10. The Workers' Occupational Diseases Act is
11 amended by changing Section 27 as follows:

13     Sec. 27. This Act shall apply to all occupational diseases
14 incurred and~~and~~deaths occurring on or after July 1, 1951.
