HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, February 22, 2013, marks the anniversary of 25 years in the ministry for Pastor Anthony D. Tyler, head pastor of Higher Ground Community Church; and

WHEREAS, Higher Ground Community Church is located at 415 Saginaw, Calumet City, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Tyler has shown personal and spiritual commitment to the Lord by virtue of his 25 years of spiritual leadership and guidance to all; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Tyler has established an Annual Back To School Drive through Higher Ground Community Church and many citizens have benefited from his work; and

WHEREAS, The community has benefited from the influence and guidance of Pastor Tyler's years, as well as the many facets of his outreach and assistance to the community; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize, honor, and express pride and appreciation to Pastor Anthony D. Tyler for his personal achievements, numerous community contributions, and commitment as a spiritual leader and confidant, and we congratulate Pastor Anthony D. Tyler on the anniversary of his 25 years in the ministry; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Pastor Anthony Tyler as an expression of our esteem and respect.
