HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Kathy Renninger on her retirement as Lake Villa Township Clerk; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger started her service with Lake Villa Township in April 1996 as township manager; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger helped launch the Township Transportation System as a partnership between Lake Villa, Antioch, and Grant Townships providing destination-based transportation to seniors; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger was instrumental in founding the Lake Villa Township entertainment lunch series for seniors, with past themes including murder mystery, corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day, and a New Year's casino celebration; she has aided in expanding recreational and game fields from 20 acres to over 100 acres including 9 baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, and a football complex; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger has helped Lake Villa Township to expand services for seniors, youth, and neighbors in need; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger was elected Lake Villa Township Clerk on April 5, 2005; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Kathy Renninger on her retirement as Lake Villa Township Clerk, thank her for her service to her community, and wish her all the best in her future endeavours; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Kathy Renninger as an expression of our esteem and respect.
