HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Craig Votrain on the occasion of his retirement from Operative Plasterers And Cement Masons International Association (OPCMIA) Local 90; and

WHEREAS, Craig Votrain started as a Cement Mason with OPCMIA Local 90 on June 13, 1974; and

WHEREAS, Craig Votrain became Business Manager and Financial Secretary-Treasurer of OPCMIA Local 90 in June of 1987; he also served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Illinois State Conference; he was appointed International Deputy Representative by OPCMIA Local 90 on July 1, 1992, and served in that position until May 20, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Craig Votrain retired from OPCMIA Local 90 on May 31, 2014 after 27 years as a Business Agent; and

WHEREAS, Craig Votrain is married to Denise; they have 2 children, Corey and Danielle, and one grandson, Beckham; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Craig Votrain on his retirement from Operative Plasterers And Cement Masons International Association Local 90, and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Craig Votrain as an expression of our esteem and respect.
