HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Trever B. Chick of Peoria, who passed away on May 5, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Trever Chick was born on March 2, 2003 in Peoria; his mother was Tracey Colvin; and

WHEREAS, Trever Chick was a 5th grade student at Lincoln Middle School in Peoria; and

WHEREAS, Trever Chick enjoyed riding his bike, playing basketball and football, drawing, and attending church; and

WHEREAS, Trever Chick was preceded in death by his grandmother and aunt; and

WHEREAS, Trever Chick is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tracey (Travis) Corey; a sister, Shatea Fair; a nephew, Jamane; grandfather, Ben (Nancy) Colvin; an aunt, Teresa (Larry) Williams; an uncle, Larry Corey; and several other brothers and sisters; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Trever B. Chick; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Trever Chick as an expression of our sympathy.
