Amends the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning severability.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning business.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act is amended by changing Section 7 as follows:

(815 ILCS 510/7) (from Ch. 121 1/2, par. 317)

Sec. 7. If any provision of this Act or the the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the Act which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this Act are severable.
