    Amends the Illinois Health Information Exchange and Technology Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title. Amends the Court of Claims Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the creation of the Court of Claims.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Health Information Exchange and
5Technology Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 3860/1)
7    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2021)
8    Sec. 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the the
9Illinois Health Information Exchange and Technology Act.

11    Section 10. The Court of Claims Act is amended by changing
12Section 1 as follows:
 
13    (705 ILCS 505/1)  (from Ch. 37, par. 439.1)
14    Sec. 1. The Court of Claims, hereinafter called the court,
15is created. It shall consist of 7 judges, who are attorneys
16licensed to practice law in the the State of Illinois, to be
17appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of
18the Senate, one of whom shall be appointed chief justice. In
19case of vacancy in such office during the recess of the Senate,
20the Governor shall make a temporary appointment until the next
21meeting of the Senate, when he shall nominate some person to

1fill such office. If the Senate is not in session at the time
2this Act takes effect, the Governor shall make temporary
3appointments as in case of vacancy.
