SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of June Eleanor Grayeb of Peoria, who passed
4away on December 14, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, June Grayeb was born in Peoria to Grace (Slusher)
6and Robert W. "Bob" Tarbell on July 26, 1924; she married
7Charles William Grayeb in Peoria; and
 
8    WHEREAS, June Grayeb graduated from beauty school and
9worked as a hairdresser for several years before marrying and
10raising her family; she also became a real estate broker and
11established her own business in Peoria, June Grayeb Realty; and
 
12    WHEREAS, June Grayeb enjoyed oil painting, sewing,
13knitting, crocheting, crafts, baking, and cooking for her
14family and friends; she was well-loved by all of her family,
15her neighbors, and her community of friends; she was a
16wonderful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she had so
17many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that
18she lovingly referred to them as her "Rabbit Babies"; and
 
19    WHEREAS, June Grayeb was preceded in death by her husband,
20Charles; and

1    WHEREAS, June Grayeb is survived by her children, Patricia
2C. McClain, Constance E. (Rob) Copeland, and Charles V. Grayeb
3(Scott); her grandchildren, Jack (Robin) Barger, Karen (Tim)
4Worner, Sandra (David) Rohde, Kenneth Jr. (Julie) Dolan,
5Vincent (Judy) Barger, and Holly (Dan) Swisher; 19
6great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10June Eleanor Grayeb and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of June Grayeb as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
