SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Michael Douglas Grom of Waukegan, who
4passed away on April 4, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Grom was born in Waukegan on December 15,
61974; he was a lifelong resident of Waukegan; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Michael Grom worked at Jesters in Waukegan; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Grom was an avid fan of the Cubs and the
9Eagles; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Grom was preceded in death by his mother,
11Shirley Grom; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Germaine
12Grom; his maternal grandmother, Emily Monroe; his godparents,
13Frank Grom and Bonnie Montori; and his best friend, Chris
14Dizzonne; and
 
15    WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Michael Grom was
16survived by his father, Thomas (Linda) Grom; his brothers, Tim
17Grom and Joshua (Danielle) Bentivegna; his sister, Christina
18Grom; his grandparents, Andy and Mary and Nicole and Jack; his
19nephews, Manny, Owen, and Jackson; his nieces, Alora, Leiana,
20and Isabella; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the

1Grom, Monroe, and Bentivegna families; and his many dear
2friends; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Michael Douglas Grom and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Michael Grom as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
