SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bertram J. "Bert" Brown of Gurnee, who passed away on October 5, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Bert Brown was born in Waukegan to Burton F. and Felia Sadauski Brown; he graduated from Waukegan High School in 1954; he married Patricia March in 1958; and

WHEREAS, Bert Brown worked as a plumber for 60 years for both Local 130 and Local 93; and

WHEREAS, Bert Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents; and his brother, Gerald Brown; and

WHEREAS, Bert Brown is survived by his children, Michael Brown, Mark (Marilyn) Brown, and Debbie (Tod) Capko; his grandchildren, Jennifer Capko, Jessica (Travis) Rentzsch, and Matthew and John Brown; his great-grandchildren, Addison Capko, Cayden, Bentley, and Dahlia Doczyk, and Brooklyn Rentzsch; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we morn the passing of Bertram J. "Bert" Brown and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bert Brown as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
