SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael S. Worley; and

WHEREAS, Michael Worley served his community for decades as the Director of Public Works for the Village of Orland Hills; and

WHEREAS, Michael Worley volunteered as a Little League Baseball coach and Cub Scout leader; and

WHEREAS, Michael Worley was a friend to many in his community; and

WHEREAS, Michael Worley was the beloved husband of Sherry (Socha); the loving father of Dan (Fiance Kim), Sean (Amanda), and Heidi Worley; the devoted grandfather of Ethan, Jacob, and Dean; the dearest brother of Virginia (Gary) Heavener, the late Roberta Shank, and Janice Richmond; the cherished son-in-law of Adrianne and the late Ronald Socha; the devoted brother-in-law of Susan (Bill) Dickover and Julie (Tony) Hoekstra; and the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michael S. Worley, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Worley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
