SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Diane L. (Carey) (Villegas) Hartman of
4Joliet, who passed away on January 14, 2017 at the age of 62;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Diane Hartman was born on April 6, 1954; she
7attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Grade School and
8Joliet Central High School; she later attended JJC, St. Francis
9University, and Lewis University; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Diane Hartman retired from Joliet Central High
11School after a long teaching career; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Diane Hartman was preceded in death by her
13beautiful daughter, Julie Villegas; her parents, Bernice
14(Shoba) Carey and Raymond Carey; and her amazing brother, James
15G. Carey; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Diane Hartman is survived by her spectacular
17husband, Jeffrey Hartman; her much loved children, Mark
18(Jennie) and Alexis Villegas; her grandchildren, Marissa,
19Savannah, and Violet Villegas; her siblings, fun-loving Ralph
20Carey, most helpful sister, Joyce (Tom) Moss, and Raymond Carey
21Jr.; her sister-in-law, Sheila Carey; and former

1sister-in-law, Patricia Bever; her wonderful mother-in-law,
2Dean Hartman; her sisters-in-law, Julie (Stan) Clark, Deanna
3(Gordon) Lustfeldt; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Beth) Hartman;
4numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her faithful furry
5companion, Benjamin; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Diane L. Hartman, and
9extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all
10who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Diane Hartman as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
