SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Aldona M. (Berkiel) Barrows of Gurnee, who passed away on September 2, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Aldona Barrows was the wife of the late Robert J. Barrows; the loving mother of Lawrence H. (Sherrie) Quedenfeld, Karen L. (Douglas) Mihevc, and Richard A. (Tava) Barrows; the grandmother of Debra (Bobby) Holtzapple, Stacie (Greg) Scott and Kimmy Quedenfeld, and Kristen and Collin Mihevc; the great-grandmother of Kevin, Alexis, Camron, and Grayson; the sister of the late Albert Berkiel; and the daughter of the late Apalonija and Stanley Berkiel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Aldona M. Barrows, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Aldona Barrows as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
