1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Donald W. "Don" Casper of Springfield,
4 who passed away on July 24, 2017; and

5     WHEREAS, Donald Casper was born to Albert L. and Agnes
6 Yanor Casper on November 25, 1933; he married Joan Aletha Staab
7 at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Springfield on June 15, 1957;
8 and

9     WHEREAS, Donald Casper was preceded in death by his parents
10 and numerous family members and friends; and

11     WHEREAS, Donald Casper is survived by his wife, Joan; his
12 sons, Stephen, Brian, and Michael Casper; his daughter, Katie
13 Merriman; and many other great family members and friends;
14 therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
16 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
17 Donald W. "Don" Casper, and extend our sincere condolences to
18 his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
19 further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to the family of Donald Casper as an expression of
2 our deepest sympathy.
