SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Raymond J. Holtz of Mount Prospect; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Holtz served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Holtz was a kind, gentle, caring man who was especially dedicated to the success of the Chicago Royal Airs Drum and Bugle Corps; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Holtz was the husband of Martha Holtz; the loving father of Raymond J. II (Courtney) Holtz and Benjamin Holtz; the cherished grandfather of Johnathon and Grace Holtz; and the dear brother of Randall Holtz; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Raymond J. Holtz, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Raymond Holtz as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
