SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ryan Christopher Koski, who passed away on July 30, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Koski was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on January 1, 1988; he graduated from Gurnee Middle School and received his high school diploma from the American School of Correspondence; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Koski worked in the family business, installing flooring then for American Dream Home Improvement; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Koski enjoyed four wheeling, motor bikes, biking with his dad and friends, baseball, basketball, football, Boy Scouts, golf, snowmobiling, bumper boats, go carts, pool, scuba diving, music, movies, eating out, and working out; his travels took him to Texas, Arizona, Canada, Michigan, Florida, Arkansas, and Hawaii; he was a devoted father; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Koski was preceded in death by his father, Stacy Selenak; his grandfather, Denis Selenak; and his step-grandfather, Don Susman; and

WHEREAS, Ryan Koski is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Koski, and her mother, Elysia McPherson; his mother, Lynn (Dave Pasko) Sylvester; his grandparents, Mary Jo and Melvin Koski; his grandmother, Diane Selenak Susman; his aunt, Shannon (Matt) Wamser; his uncles, Mike Koski and Mark (Rose) Koski; his half-siblings, Scott Towne and Tierney Sylvester; and numerous cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ryan Christopher Koski, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ryan Koski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
