SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lorenza Burrafato of Woodstock, who
4passed away on June 12, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lorenza Burrafato was born to Salvatore and
6Concetta (Cimino) Sunseri in Italy on November 15, 1924; she
7received her tailoring degree in Italy and married Carmen
8Burrafato; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lorenza Burrafato ran a successful tailoring
10business in McHenry for over 48 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lorenza Burrafato was a loving wife, mother, and
12friend and will be missed by all; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Lorenza Burrafato was preceded in death by her
14husband, Carmen, and her daughter, Rose Burrafato; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Lorenza Burrafato is survived by her daughters,
16Mary (Butch) Dowell and Connie (Dennis) Blietz; six
17grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three
18great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Lorenza Burrafato, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Lorenza Burrafato as an expression
7of our deepest sympathy.
