SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Urban Peter Wagner of McHenry, who passed away on June 1, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was born in Round Lake to John and Gertrude (Deidrich) Wagner on November 18, 1924; and

WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters; he administered Holy Communion at the Hospital, loved playing golf and spending winters in Florida with his wife, Patricia, and truly enjoyed being with his family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lorraine; his wife, Patricia; his brothers, Albert, Joseph, Ralph, and Roy; and his sisters, Caroline, Dorothy, and Marie; and

WHEREAS, Urban Wagner is survived by his children, Carol (John) Meyer, Terry (Jackie) Wagner, Kevin (Kathy) Wagner, Diane (Brad) Kleven, Robert (Carol) Schaefer, Gary (Alisa) Schaefer, and Liz (Mike) Campana; 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Theresa Seibert and Louise Godwin; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Urban Peter Wagner, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Urban Wagner as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
