SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy Trizna of Joliet, who passed away on June 17, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was born in Joliet to George T. and Barbara (Bauer) Klemencic in 1926; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna worked at Joliet West High School for many years and retired from U.S. Steel; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church; she enjoyed attending her son's and grandchildren's sporting events; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Trizna, and her parents; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna is survived by her children, Raymond (Luanne) Trizna, Judy (Darrel) Smith, and James (Maureen) Trizna; her grandchildren, Patrick (Mandy) Baumgartner, Julia Garvey, Michael Trizna, Adriana Trizna, and Matthew Trizna; her great-grandchildren, Caedon and Logan Baumgartner; her sister, Eileen Bedesky; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dorothy Trizna, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dorothy Trizna as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
