SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of James "Jimmy" S. Zachar of Huntley, who
4passed away on May 21, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, James Zachar was born in Chicago to Stanley and
6Barbara (Krughoff) Zachar in 1948; he served in the United
7States Army in the Vietnam War, where he was decorated with
8three honorary service medals; and
 
9    WHEREAS, James Zachar worked as a truck driver and
10specialty hauling contractor in the Chicago area; and
 
11    WHEREAS, James Zachar loved to tinker and have garage sales
12with his many "found treasures"; he was an avid fisherman; and
 
13    WHEREAS, James Zachar was preceded in death by his parents;
14his stepson, William MacShane; and his step-granddaughter,
15Natalie MacShane; and
 
16    WHEREAS, James Zachar is survived by his loving wife of 38
17years, Roberta M. St. Clair; his stepchildren, Susan Kuhlman,
18Dennis (Kim) MacShane, Therese (Jack) Caveney, MaryKay
19MacShane, and Christopher (Diane) MacShane; 12
20step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and his

1brothers, Gene (Nancy) and William; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4James "Jimmy" S. Zachar, and extend our sincere condolences to
5his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of James Zachar as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
