SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Joseph Lumber of Antioch, who passed away on June 7, 2017; and

WHEREAS, John Lumber was born to John W. Lumber and Eva Maria (Erich) Schlott; he graduated from Grant High School and attended the College of Lake County; and

WHEREAS, John Lumber held positions as a warehouse manager at Iso-medix, in construction, and as a handyman; most recently, he was employed at Stirrus Iso-Medix; and

WHEREAS, John Lumber is survived by his parents; his aunts, Barbara Lumber, Charlene Van Kirk, and Mary Olander; his uncle, Dr. Herald Schneider; and his cousins, James Lumber II, Robert Lumber, and Julianna and Alicia Schneider; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Joseph Lumber, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Lumber as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
