SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lorraine M. Freund of McHenry, who passed
4away on April 17, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lorraine Freund was born in Spring Grove to Frank
6and Mathilda (Kattner) May on May 9, 1922; she married Stanley
7Freund at St. Peter's Church of Spring Grove on October 24,
81945; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lorraine Freund enjoyed gardening, baking,
10cooking, traveling, golf, and card clubs; her family was the
11most important thing to her; she was a longtime member of St.
12John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin
13Mary Sodality; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lorraine Freund was preceded in death by her
15husband, Stanley; her parents; and her brothers, Arnold N.,
16Frank A., and Eugene E. May; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lorraine Freund is survived by her son, Dale L.
18(Cherise) Freund; her grandchildren, Andrew (Julie), Jeffrey
19(Stacy), Martin, and Matthew; her great-grandchildren, Alaina
20and Mazie; her sisters-in-law, Marjorie May, Mary Lou May,
21Glorice Jackson, and Doris Freund; and many nieces and nephews;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Lorraine M. Freund, and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Lorraine Freund as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
