SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard F. Budzynski Sr. of Johnsburg, who passed away on April 13, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was born in Chicago to John and Emily (Zyskowski) Budzynski on February 12, 1939; he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and married the love of his life, Muriel Paszkiet, in Chicago at St. Robert Bellarmine Church on September 29, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was the proprietor of RFB Litho Service Inc. of Chicago for over 39 years; and

WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. had a summer home since 1989 in Johnsburg and became a permanent resident in 1999; he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9167 with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; he loved to read and enjoyed woodworking; he had a great love for nature and the outdoors; especially his riverfront property in Johnsburg, and the beauty of the outdoors in Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Budzynski; his sister-in-law, Del Budzynski; and his brother-in-law, George Blickhahn; and

WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Muriel; his children, Adrienne (Christopher) Hentz, Richard F. Jr. (Karina) Budzynski; his grandchildren, Alexander, Shawn, Elise, Jake, Mila; and his sister, Dorothy Blickhahn; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Richard F. Budzynski Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard Budzynski Sr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
