SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Rose Mary Weingart of McHenry, who passed
4away on March 15, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rose Weingart was born in Northbrook to William F.
6and Pauline B. (Happ) Selzer on August 23, 1924 and grew up in
7Crystal Lake; she married Donald P. Weingart at St. Thomas of
8the Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake on October 5, 1946;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Rose Weingart had a lifelong interest in cooking,
11baking, sewing, and the occasional debate; in her earlier
12years, she devotedly attended her grandchildren's many
13sporting events and enjoyed her exercise group, dominoes, card
14clubs, and vacations to Sayner, Wisconsin with her family and
15friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Rose Weingart was preceded in death by her
17parents; her siblings, Lawrence, Norie, Richard, Francis,
18Edward, Eleanor Aufderheide, Loretta Anderson, and Angeline
19Raycraft; and her son-in-law, David S. Diedrich; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Rose Weingart is survived by her husband of 70
21years, Donald; her children, Alan (Mary) Weingart, Karen

1Diedrich, and Jane (Brad) Hertel; her grandchildren, Andrew
2(Katelynn) Weingart, Nathan Weingart, Sarah (James) Frank,
3Todd (Caitlin) Diedrich, Kathleen Diedrich, Emily (Brad) Voss,
4and Erik Hertel; and her great-grandchild, Blake Diedrich;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Rose Mary Weingart, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Rose Weingart as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
